SRAM Force Groupset
Having spent a lot of time on SRAM’s flagship ‘Red’ groupset, I was excited about jumping on the 2nd tier Force group.
On first inspection it is difficult to tell where the money has been saved. Visually very similar with carbon cranks and brake levers.
Force looks every bit as racy as it’s big brother, braking is every bit as good, lever ergonomics are identical and the shifting has the same positive action.
The only real downgrade in use is the lack of Zero Loss shifting in the RH shifter. The slower cable response making multiple shifts more awkward.
Very few shortfalls over the more expensive Red group and in use almost identical.
